Dr. Steven Takamatsu was born and raised in the Inland Empire.  He graduated from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), one of the top dental schools in the United States with the highly respected Doctor of Dental Surgery Program.  He had proved his leadership through the presidency at UCSF, student association and Delta Sigma Delta.  He previously received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine.

Utilizing special skills and techniques advanced over the years, he has focused his passion on treating families, making family dentistry one of his favorite specialities.  He maintains at the forefront of dentistry by continually pursuing advanced education and training. He attands Dental conventions annually to be introduced to new and improved technologies that can be utilized in his office.

He lives in the Inland Empire and attends La Verne and surrounding community events, as he believes that it is very important to stay connected and involved with the community. He has accompanied all of the elementary schools in the Bonita Unified School District since 2007 to assist Kindergarten children with dental screening required by the State of California. He also served as a community judge in Miss La Verne Pagent in 2008.

He is a currently a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), California Dental Association (CDA), Tri-County Dental Association and La Verne Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Takamatsu is married and has four dogs named Goku, Yumi, Miya and Momo.  He spends his personal time gardening and attending dog shows with his wife and his furry kids.
